2009 Tulsa Area Arthritis Walk May 3rd, 2009 1 PM Whiteside Park
The Walk will take place on Sunday rain or shine with only two exceptions. We will not walk if there is lightning or tornado warnings. Registration starts at 12:30 and the walk begins at 1:00. Looking forward to seeing all of you on Sunday!

Choose from a three-mile or one-mile walk route
Write an inspirational message on the Wall of Heroes
Wear a blue “hero” hat if you have arthritis
LUNCH: Enjoy a free lunch provided by Subway & Great Harvest Bread Company
ASK THE DOC: Rheumatologist Dr. Malloy will lead this one hour session
KIDZONE: Inflatable Obstacle Course, Jupiter Jump, face painting, small carnival games, playground, Tulsa Fire Truck Tour, popcorn wagon, and more!
DOGZONE: South Memorial Animal Hospital and Companion Dog School will provide activities and information for your dog
COIN VAN: Collect coins to bring to the Walk, drop it into the counters and MidFirst Bank will match what is raised! From 12:30-2:30 PM
Walk With Us The Tulsa Arthritis Walk® is the Arthritis Foundation’s annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of the 46 million men, women and children doctor-diagnosed with arthritis.
Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team. Best of all, walk in honor of a loved one with arthritis and know you’re making a difference by raising funds to support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
